Who we are

What we collect

• Account: name, email, password (stored only as a salted PBKDF2 hash).
• Birth and profile data: birth date, optional birth time, birthplace (with coordinates and timezone), current city, employment type and industry.
• Usage: your conversations with the coaches, your ratings, the daily briefings we generate, and basic security logs (e.g. IP address for rate limiting).
• Billing: handled by Stripe or PayPal. We store only identifiers and subscription status — never your card number.

How we use it

To compute your chart, generate your daily briefing and coach replies, send the emails you asked for, run billing, keep the service secure, and improve the quality of advice (for example, using your ratings to tune future replies).

Processors we share data with

• Cloudflare (hosting and database)
• OpenAI (generates briefings and chat replies from your profile, transits and conversation context; per OpenAI's API terms, API data is not used to train their models by default)
• Resend (email delivery)
• Stripe and PayPal (payments)
• Open-Meteo (place search — only the text you type into the city field)

We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and your rights

We keep your data while your account is active. You can export all of it or permanently delete your account from Settings at any time. Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA) you may have additional rights to access, correct, restrict or object — contact us to exercise them.

Cookies

We use one essential, httpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Children

AstroBot is not intended for anyone under 16.
